Check with George at Rovers Down South. He had some listed on his website.

I think I am using the wrong name. I need the piece that runs from the bulkhead along the side of the seatbox to the rear tub. I looked at sils on the RDS site, Thats not what I need.

The sill panels are the sheets of aluminum that form a skirt along the outside. There is are sill rails behind there, the structural members that run from the bulkhead to the chassis outrigger behind the door.

I'll look and see if I can find such online for you:

Yep; I'd just found the part in my copy of the Parts Catalog. Check w/ Les at RN, he might have used ones. If he doesn't, *somebody* does.... George, Ike, somebody....

Sorry I miss understood what you were looking for. For the heck of it see if Defender sils would work. PA Blanchard has them for about $120 ea. without shipping. Try George at RDS, Ike at Pangolin or Marc at Singing Camel. I'll bet British NW would have them if he'll part with one. You could also try Wise Owl in Canada

T pillars from a 110 fit the 109 so Jim should be right that this part from a D90 should fit an 88" just fine. I know for a fact that the screw holes in the floor boards are in the correct location as well.

                Land Rover part number:

                AJL710020 - right side

Just checked with our very own Les Parker and the Defender 90 Sill channels do fit Series 88. These are available from Rovers North stock and only $61.96 ea. Note: These channels ARE galvanized.

                  SILL CHANNEL RH DEFENDER 90/110

                  SILL CHANNEL LH DEFENDER 90/110

Further note: These later model Defender 90/110 sill channels don't have the seal location on them as the seals are on the door.

The 110 channels do not. They are part of the T pillars on a 109/110. Your part #s RNC831 & RNC 832.
