    What are these used for? Surely some accessories, but can you run on these? Thanks...

    use em for any small 12v apliance, lamp, fridge, phone, gps whatever

      i've seen what was call a vintage lr trouble light that had a plug that fit those fittings on ebay once. i think it sold for about $100. which i thought has a lot for a little 12v bukb on a 6' lead.

        100 bucks is a deal, the jag guys pay a mint for the lucas torpedo lamp. They are actually a cool peice.

              If you watch eBay you'll eventually see quite a number of accessories that come up that plug into that socket. I recall seeing an tea kettle (can't be without your tea!) and a rather scary looking defroster that I imagine was nothing more than a heating element that you sort of stuck to the windshield. That might be the smoke generator that someone mentioned previously...
