    Paint codes and names

I'm trying to find the right paint for my 59 SER II. The paint shops I've talked to say the codes I have are wrong.
Glasurit ROV-605 should be Pastel green, but it comes up as a 2007 metalic green!
The PPG code for Pastel green is a MG code, light green.
One shop did find some Glasurit codes for a 1959 Rover but does not list Pastel Green, but a Chinese light green.
Is anyone familiar with this? Is Chinese light green right?
    This is getting confusing.
    Thank you for any help.

      Bob Jones:

My paint sales rep for Dupont in my area gave me the exact recipe for mixing this color in Dupont Imron.

The code # is: 42-38504 B Pastel Green

It matches my '69 88. If that number does not help, PM me, and I will type out the exact mixing recipe for the tints.

Dupont Imron is a durable, industrial paint. You wouldn't use it on a Porsche, but it should take care of your Series.

      Hope this helps.
