Need a measurement on a 109 regular tub

    Hi,
I'm doing some thinking about a new project and would like to know the distance from the back of the door opening to the front of the rear wheelwell opening along the bottom of the tubside. Basically a measurement from door opening to wheelwell running along the line between the tubside and the lower trim panel. So, if anyone has a 109 regular (three door for those that prefer that term) and feels like taking a minute with a measuring tape I would be appreciative. Thanks.

    Such a seemingly easy request--I'd help, but I've got a non-regular (5 door wagon) and I don't know if there's a difference or not.

I'll try to remember to grab that measurement for you when I'm next near the 109. Of course I always tend to forget these things when I'm stood in front of it (taking it all in ).

Gosh! I kept forgetting about this. Sorry bout that.

If you put the tip of the tape measure between the rubber of the front door seal and the bodywork, the measurement to where the rear wheel arch begins is 29 and 1/4 inches.

        Hope that helps.

I'm curious about your request too.
I can only think... 4 door? Or 3 and clam shell?

            Do let us know please.
