Here are a few seen on Oahu.

I don't think this 88 has seen much action in a long while.

This one is waiting at a condo complex

        A driver!!

        A pinzgauer junk yard.

The salt air is tough on cars. I talked with the mechanic. Apparently getting parts for the pinzgauers is hard and quite pricey.

1960 is a great year! I'm partial to that year. :-) Years ago I ran into a guy who also had a 1960 like yours and mine, that was exactly one hundred newer than my by serial number. What are the odds!!!

          Your truck looks great!!!

Here's a couple of my new to me 1958 109. Finally fabed up an exhaust intermediate pipe so I could run it.
See I need to address a good oil leak and radiator leak. Also need to dig into why it will start one time and then won't turn over the second time. Needs a well charged battery or jump first time, then shut it off and it does not want to restart every time?

I agree. The more I see the 109 pick up the more I think one Rover is not enough.

I think I corrected the starting problem, starter ground. When it wouldn't start I attached my jumper from starter to battery and it started right up. Changed the tires also.
Update; went out and tested it a number of times all good.

Here is my 73 Series III 88 2.25l petrol. It has a new galvanized frame and I'm currently restoring the interior and early next year a fresh coat of paint.

@NC_Mule, no, not at all. The bumper was installed a few owners ago when the truck resided in New Zealand. Best guess says all the galvy bumpers, roo bars, roof rack and rear quarter panel protection were done by the same guy. There is a plate on the bumper that had the company name but I think it has since faded away.

This is the best "front" picture I have on hand right now (largely since my brother has absconded with my Rover and taken it up to Vail for the winter).
