    3/8" BSF

    most likely. Have you tried a 3/8" coarse thread bolt? A 3/8" UNC will fit in a 3/8" BSC threaded hole (although the thread pitches are different). However, a 3/8" UNF will not go in a 3/8" BSF hole.

      No one in town has them or know where to get it.
      BUT - our host RN has them!!!

        You can bolt one of these Pinion Guards to the holes:
        1965 SIIa 88",1975 Ex-MOD 109/Ambulance, 1989 RRC, blah, blah, blah...
