So my Lightweight started running rough and out of the blue I broke down and had to tow her home. Went through just about everything including the Zenith Carb and eventually found the points to be quite pitted and in rough shape. After trying to clean them up, she runs considerably better but still misses when revved up.
I've been looking for new points but I'm not sure what I need. One catalog shows 24V points for ~$50 but they don't look like mine. She is a 24V FFR but I think I have a reduction box to make the points 12V. Can anyone confirm from the pics?
Also, if the iginition system is in fact 12V, can I change the distribtutor cap, plugs, and wires to 12V versions just to be safe?
Need help as I'd like to start driving her again but I'm pretty frustrated right now.
