    New improved website

I just thought I'd say that I really like the new Rovers North 2.0 website - much cleaner and easier to navigate.

I'm tryin' to get used to it.... I think I'll like it, but, some things that I'm used to browsing for, I'm having a time turning up....

    We'll get there.....

BTW: is RN going back to using LR part numbers?? I hope so....

Thank you for the kudos, yes I've been busy with this design.

Leslie hopefully you'll get used the new site! Land Rover part numbers can be plugged into the "Part#________ Go" field, upper left.

Find your parts based on categories, but this time organized with loads and loads of sub-categories and NEW illustrations. Please send all comments, fixes and or upgrades to me, thanks.

WOW! The new format is MUCH easier (for me, anyway) to use. Lots of pictures and not so many words. Perfect.

Oh, I'm sure I will..... I'm prowling through it (as you well know already! ). I kinda miss being able to "leaf through a virtual catalog" page by page... (or have I just missed it that it can still do that some way?).

I'd noticed that part numbers had become useful on the previous site version; but, in diagrams, they still often have the RN numbers instead.... a lot of times, I'm flipping between the catalog and my pdf versions of the parts manuals and the workshop manuals, trying to rectify if it's the *right* part for my particular vehicle.... thing is, these things changed over time, and part number X might have been superceded by part number Y, but for my vehicle I might still specifically need an X to function w/o having to replace a whole assembly. If everything was LR numbers w/o RN numbers, it'd be a bit easier, but, I'm gettin' through it, just a little more encumbered than it could be.

Anyway, two thumbs up on the fresh look of the site.... I do like it. Just gettin' familiar w/.......

            Oh man! What a difference.

I gotta say, the old design was pretty tough to use. Just never felt confidant with it. This looks like a much friendlier site for users.

In fact, I may actually use it for ordering now.

It is indeed an upgrade. My one question is where did the page with the specs and pictures of the various models go?

These two pages should be available anywhere on the website soon, at top level Land Rover Categories, similar as this as a link below the illustrations >>
