    Stainless Lamp rings?

Anyone know where to get stainless headlamp rings? Mine get pitted and nasty pretty fast here in the buckle of the salt belt.

Find a local chrome shop and have them redone. Shouldn't be that expensive...

on some of them it came with a chrome ring, my '70-'71 2a had them originally, lights in centre panel

the panel is dead flat, no raised area surrounding the headlamp fitment

this would have been an almost identical panel as fitted to the earliest Series 2's ('58 to about '61 i think)

this is a New Zealand ex military 88" (Skippy) so i'm not sure what would have been fitted elsewhere in the world

my 1965 109 UK home market 109 utility has a raised area in the panel surrounding the headlights, no chrome trims

unfortunately i'm not overly knowledgeable with landrovers so i can't say i've seen the parts in your pictures before, i just know most of the parts in the ones i own

The military headlight assemblies are different, with no chrome rings - they are painted.
Here is a brand new AEU2465 military headlight assembly. It doesn't come with the outer shroud as you pictured.

Here is what the military lights look like assembled:

Here is where you can find a lot of information about the military headlight assemblies:

Mine is not lightweight! It is series military edition used for wireless. So, does the same implies on non lightweight military edition.
                Thanks

How about some plastik ones? That would solve all sorts of problems.

As far as I know, most military headlight assemblies were the same.

                      Series III exMOD 109

Here's a picture from my Series III exMOD 109. I should have taken a picture when I had them all apart for repainting.
