      Merry Christmas!!

Did you buy the tree or just go crashing through the woods and somehow the tree just ended up in the back?

          Merry Christmas

          Eric,

Don't tell me that there's no snow in Stowe, yet! Good to see your II-A put to good use.

Does a red rover negate the need for a red flag on a load that extends more than 4 ft from the back of your truck?

Only if you harvest the tree in the town square. At night. On a bar bet.

                    Merry Christmas!!!

I am staying at my Mom's over the holidays and she wanted me to go out and get some Pine branches to use as decorations around the house. When I went to bed I prayed that it wouldn't take me long to find some and boy were my prayers answered!!!

From the apparent lack of damage it almost looks posed. I actually hope it was. Any bad damage?

Lots of those scenes (minus the rover) around here the other day. I'm confident it's NOT staged!

SafeAirOne is correct, it was not staged at all it was quite an ice storm that came through the northeast. We were out of power for a couple of days. Luckily we had a generator and plugged in a couple of our neighbors.

But the only damage was to one of the light covers, other than that no damage at all. I am sure that the roofrack helped a bit but the branches also weren't falling from 50 ft up.

I even lucked out at a house I have rented out. a complete tree came down on my tenants minivan - with no damage.

And to celebrate no damage I used my new portable beer cooler!

Actually I may use this as a cooler in the summer, put a trash bag in the tire, throw in some beers and ice!
