Visiting England soon, any Land Rover related recommendations?

    Hi All,
My wife and girls and I will be visiting England for 10 days, primarily staying in London, beginning late February. Are there any recommendations for Series Land Rover related sights or activities? Thanks, Jeff

Dunsfold is on the south side of London near Stanstead IIRC.
Gaydon is up in the midlands but is good as it covers the entire British car history.
You've got the Land Rover experience which I think is up at the factory outside Birmingham.

        Thanks for the help

Thank you for the ideas. I figure if the girls make me go to a ballet, I can work in a Land Rover field trip!

Not necessarily. You are applying logic to a non linear thinking species. You have my sympathy.

Oh, if you make it to Solihull, you're not too far from here:

The UK has several Land Rover clubs - by model of Rover, by region, by interest. Why not visit their websites and see if there might be something happening while you're there?

A good starting point would be Association of Land Rover Clubs website.

Have fun! Enthusiasts in the UK have always been very hospitable to US visitors.

Ditto what is said above - I took a trip over a few Christmas' ago. Once I overdosed on in-laws and drinking hi-pinky tea in English cottages named Rose, I met up with some lads from ORRP and they took me on a full day of greenlaning in the North Yorkshire Moors. They even fed me - a bacon buddy at a road side stand for breakies and a fish-n-chips for late afternoon meal.
