    Fitting a Defender front to a Series lll???

    Guys,

    Whats involved with fitting a Defender front (Body panels) to a Series lll?

    You can get by with simply installing a front radiator panel and swapping the bonnet, if you're just trying to get the look. You would still have the Series wings and radiator support there.

    The wings you can also swap if you are trying to go further, they attach the same way; they would need to be changed out if you wanted to remove the Series' radiator panel. At that point, then you'd be using the Defender radiator panel for the wings' support at the front.

      If you are doing it just for the look then you will need to get the defender wheel arches to match front and rear. Otherwise it will look off.

      You would also need either wide offset wheels or coil axles to then get the undercarriage to match up.

      Then the windscreen. Then... then.

      Ach! Just leave it.
