Piece of cake. If you can tighten bolts and have an eye for aligning, you'll do just fine.

Thanks, I was not sure if I had to drill into the frame.

No drilling on the frame, though you can drill through the outriggers for extra strength.
Do you have a fax #? I can fax the instructions to?

Any one got a source for lightweight sliders?

Are lightweights that much different from a regular series? I have only seen pics and read about them. Seems that regular sliders would work?

Drop some knowledge on me! I am curious!

I don't think they would, for a lightweight the sill is shorter than a regular 88"

I think Ike has made sliders for a lightweight before. If not I'm sure he could.

These are some from a guy in Belguim (http://puppy64.nl/pensliggers/Lightweight/sidebars.htm):

Yup. Underneath everything is pretty much the same so hooking up to the frame wouldn't be a stretch. It's the fact that the wheel wells are significantly larger. So a standard 88 slider would stick all the way into the wheel well opening and look all fugly.

Of course that's not to say the truck isn't already fugly. But it's just purposefully fugly... not Oops that wasn't supposed to happen fugly. You see what I mean.

I could fabricate something I suppose but just haven't had the time.

You could use the 88 sliders and cut it even with the lightweight's wheel arch then weld some flat stock to close it up. And you'd have to cut the rear overlap from the side panel.
