    Kodiak Mark 4 Parts

Hello all, i got my rover up and running but i don't have any heat. I traced it back to a bad heater control valve, the one that runs inline on the plumbing. i looked on the typical sites that i get parts from but can't find the right valve. does anyone know were i can get one? I might try napa and see if a can rig something up too. thakns for the help

This is a perfect match for the valve on my Kodiak.

        Thanks Ted.
Now I can replace my home store water valve (that also leaks) with something new and <gasp> controllable from within the cabin.

Go to your local VW dealer and ask for the heater valve for a, '84 Gulf/Rabbit. It is similar to the one posted above, choke-type cable operated, but it's made from GRP. It opreates really smooth, so you can actually feather the hot-water flow to the heater. Mine cost about $15 several years ago, and they had it on the shelf.
