A deeply disturbing project... in so many ways... but you have to admit it... you can't look away.

an alloy bodied spyder of a different sort...

A series IIa built for autocrossing...

custom frame... Porsche super 90 engine in the back... porsche disk brakes...Porsche spare tire wheels, fully adjustable suspension... Rover body left raw and bashed as found.

don't laugh...i've an old spitfire tub and bonnet. spits have an 88" wheel base...and i've been thinking aout a 4x4 beater that looks a bit odd

It's not Gray... I think it was a creamy white (Limestone?) ... except that it sat in a field for the last 30 years... and the paint kind of went away. It is oxidized aluminum... under what is left of primer... with a tiny bit of paint here and there... The frame was kind of just merging back into the planet... as was the engine, axles etc. Original wheels were good amazingly enough... if anyone needs one... I'll give them away. I don't want to ship them anywhere though... they still have tires on them.

nope it's really gray...see the interior. What does the interior of this pickup look like?

This one is creamy white interior paint (or what is left of it) ... with what is left of the grey elephant hide looking vinyl seats.

The truck is away getting some work done to make the shifter and clutch linkage to the VW racing transaxle work in the stock rover locations... and with the stock rover clutch pedal.... otherwise I would upload some more photos.

Do you know Nathan Harrison, Mathew Jackson, or Jeremy Raivo? If not you should look them up. You would fit in well with them. Nathan is in SLO, Mathew and Jeremy are in Paso.
