Autocross rover
Thanks Jeff,
I'll look them up. btw... up above Auburn... above Nevada City on route 49 just before North San Juan... turn right (northeast) on Allegany Star Route I think it is called... or maybe Tyler Foot Road. ... Can't remember... anyway it is on the way up towards the Malakoff Diggings but not all the way to Malakoff... and there is a fantastic old hydraulic open pit gold mine just off the road to the right... with several driveways that lead off into un-named old Diggings. Fantastic rover terrain there. FUN! It is about 3 miles across I think... full of crazy terrain, pine trees, ravines, steep drops etc. all created 100 years ago by huge water hoses digging 50 feet down into the ground. I'm not sure if it is still open to off roaders... but it is terrific. I used to live nearby. If you get to North Columbia turn around... it is back a bit and you just missed it. There is a big wide dirt road that leads south... and the diggings are all around you there.
Eric
