We are getting closer to the Winter Romp! Caravan from CT looks possible. Right now, it looks like I well take my RRC and my friend towing his 109 and Tim from Redding in his Series. When we get closer to the day, we can start picking points along the way to meet more Rovers. So, If you all what to hook up, start chiming in.

      Cheers,
      Kevin

I plan to be at the commuter parking lot in old lyme just before 12:00. We should be able to leave the parking lot by 12 or 12:15. Kevin CT what is your route, we are 95 to 395 to 495 and then up.

                  Hey Kevin,
Having a hard time committing this weekend to the Romp. In all likelihood, I won't be sure till the day before. Typical.

I've heard word from Bertha (just over the NY border from you and I) that he is planning on attending and would like to join in the convoy. Probably meet via I-84. I've suggested he ping this conversation to let everyone know.

The best idea I can come up with for us, the western CT departure crew, is to meet at the Marcus Dairy diner. It's right off I84 and RT7 so shouldn't put anyone out as distance is concerned. Heck, the diner is used to doing car/bike shows so a group of ridiculous rigs showing up in their drive probably won't look too out of place.

Send out a time that you are hoping to do a meet up and we'll see who all can make it. From there, I'm assuming the route will be I84 -> I90 -> I295 -> I95. If there is a better route, then post away.

Again, I'm not sure if I can do it this year but feel free to email me at smithco1@gmail.com and I'll give you (or anyone else who wants it) my cell.

                  Cheers,
                  Tim

Hi all, the RT for us is what Tim stated. RT 84 to RT 90 to 290 to 95... Sorry Clifton Rover. If you want to try to meet up north more if that is possible, (I can pm you my cell # just let me know).

I am heading out around 10AM from Danbury if things go to plan. In addition, my friend with the 109 has to work that weekend so he cannot make it too.

I was/may/may not be/want to be doing it pulling a trailer.

Does that make me a fatalist?

I drive my series 109 4 hours each way home and to school each weekend, so the highways aren't the problem. Kevie ct send me your cell # and I will send you mine. I am trailering due to a rangie with a welded diff, but the series trucks going with me are slower, we could meet up north on 95.

                              Clifton,
What about a pickup around your place?

Lets say the Old Lyme Seaport?
