Have to thank Bruce for an amazing weekend. Too bad there were not more Series trucks there. The ambulance made the 600 mile round trip fine and had a blast chained up in the snow. Everyone should make plans now for next year, really allot of fun. Jim

It was good to meet you Jim. Aside from having to swap out a noisy alternator when I got up there the trip was fantastic again this year. Beautiful weather for camping too!

PHOTOS PLEASE
I just logged all the videos from the Riverport Rovers (a.k.a. ROVER-IN-A-DAY) and that looked like fun - not much sleep but fun.
Wish I could have gone.Firemanshort

Winter Romp Photos
The Maine Winter Romp was great fun again this year.
Between the weather conditions [sunny and 20 F], the dry snow [more like soft sand than paste], and the logging activities that closed off some trails, the overall driving experience was different, yet again, from past years.
The attendees and their vehicles always make the event special. What a fascinating combination of backgrounds, experiences, interests, professions, Rovers, and driving capabilities they brought to Maine!
Congratulations to Bruce Fowler for another success from his hard work, diligence and genuine enthusiasm for Land Rovers.
Here's a photo that exemplifies the Romp, and I've posted more on my website.

It was a great weekend we all had a lot of fun, not too much carnage, snapped an axle and ripped the exhaust off. fixed the axle in 10 min or so, and just rehung the exhaust with some bailing wire.Comment

Who had the Series with the snow plow - SNOW EAT-R? I saw that he had a fire tag on his truck - a fellow hose jockey?Firemanshort

There's some great videos and photos posted on the forum of the Southern New Hampshire Land Rover Club's website. The site is at www.snhlr.org .
I've posted photos at my website, too.

Thanks Jason. Guess I've been around a heck of a long time by some standards. Though not nearly as long as some others. Just added two to the list that I'd overlooked.
