starter removal

I have been having trouble w/ my starter after the truck sits. I have jumped the solenoid, charged the battery, and cleaned / tightened the connections no go. Time to pull it.
While under the truck working on it (series III) I was questioning if the starter will come out without removing either a wing or exhaust. I'm sure some one knows the answer to this. Wanted to check before I started.

Do a search on this forum and you probably find a couple similar discussions. Yes it can be removed without taking the wing or exhaust off.
