My 1971 Series IIA needs modest work. I have not been able to locate a repairman in the Augusta, GA, area. Is anyone able to recommend someone?

actually wmh, this isn't too crazy an idea depending on what you are considering modest mechanical work. You can ship it to me in CT
it isn't that far to ship up and drive back.
CT is a pretty nice State to visit.
mine goes up to ME for "check-ups".
something to consider.

Why not have Kevin fly down for a few days? He did a beautfiul job on his Series III restoration and has considerable experience with British cars.
There's a very active club called SOLAROS in your region. Here's their website with contact information.
