    Canvak

It is time to retreat my soft top and I'm planning on using Canvak. Can it be sprayed on or do you use a brush/roller? What is the best way to clean the top before the application? Finally does Canvak affect the canvas color and stiffness?
    Thanks,
    Jim

I don't know about the Canvak, as I haven't applied mine yet, but....

I took mine to a cleaners and had them wash it. Came out great. I think they charged me under 30 bucks. Drove it there and removed the top. Why waste an afternoon cleaning it yourself?

I used canvak on my (then) new top.

I noticed no difference in color or stiffness, although the canvas felt a bit "heavier" after application.
