    Battery draw

    So the goose chase begins

I have been doing some electrical rework on my NADA wagon.

I replaced the alt belt and battery but still have a battery deaw issue. If I let the truck sit for more than a week the battery is dead.

I recently had issues with my blinker circuit and headlight circuit not having power on the hot leads.

I since hardwired in power and a use to these circuits and they work.

Now I am trying to hunt down the battery draw. (Perhaps the issue is all related)

Anyways I would imagine it is just a matter of getting the volt/am meter out and seeing what circuit is drawing power when it is not suppose to be..

Any guidance or typical first areas or circuits to test?

    Thanks,
    Tim

Pull one fude at a time and see if the draw disappears. If and when it does you've found your circuit or at least narrowed it down. For non fused circuits I suppose you just pull a connection apart.
