    Wiper speed 24v vs 12v

Since the same wiper motors are used on 24v that are used on 12v systems, what is the difference in the performance on a 24v truck? I've heard that they run half the speed that they would if they were on a 12v truck.

Any truth to that? I know mine are ready for a refurb/new grease, but dang they are slow as trying to swim through tapioca pudding.

    Mmmmm pudding....

Mine are pretty slow as well. I don't drive it in the rain so I don't really care.

mine (12v) are fairly fast but my wrist hurts and arm gets tired pretty quick. if i just turn 'em on they are slow and i can't imagine them being any slower. they'll go back and forth about 20 per minute driver side, passenger about 15

When the glass is dry my wipers (12v) are glacially slow or depending on how they feel they may not run at all. But once they become wet they turn nicely for a slow single speed wiper. I am sure once I service them they will run very smooth for a slow single speed wiper

Thanks guys, I guess I don't have to worry about converting the wipers over using my 12volt dropper thinking I'd get a little boost. They shall continue to swim in pudding proudly.
