Hello all,
To make a very long story somewhat short, I have the opportunity to acquire 2 Rovers via trade, and I was wondering if you could help me out and give me some opinions on what the value of these vehicles are.
The first is a '67 Series IIA NADA 109 #336. It is almost completely stock with the exception of a Fairey overdrive and Warn locking hubcaps. Everything I can see in the photos and what I've gathered from the owner is that it is extremely solid, rust free, and in overall excellent condition other than needing a good wash, wax, and detailing. Tires are in good shape with the exception of the spare. Vehicle is not perfect, but no glaring issues that I am aware of.
The second is a '72 Series III 88, gas 4cyl. Excellent body, paint, and interior. Also comes with Fairey overdrive, Ramsey winch, brush bumper, galvanized roof rack, Fairey Superwinch overdrive, two barrel Weber carb with K&N filter, new tires, and Warn locking hubs. This vehicle appears to be the better of the two and really is in outstanding condition.
I apologize that I don't have the mileage on the vehicles, but I would say it's moderate at worst. I have no idea what these vehicles would be worth, other than what the owner has told me and what I've seen on NADAguides, which in my previous experience is a load of manure. I see a lot selling for over 10k, and some selling for under 5k, so it's kind of hard to tell what I'm looking at here. I do have about 6 pictures of each vehicle, but need to upload them to post them on here.
If anyone could give me a ballpark estimate of what these might be worth, I would greatly appreciate it.
