Shocks!

Hi everyone!

Is there a low-cost solution to shocks? Or is there a comparible vehicle that I can use to find generic shocks at a local store? I just don't have the money/care to shell out $200 for them, and I don't know anything about what I'm looking for...

I used the heavy duty part numbers from the OVLR site. My Napa guy cross referenced them to the napa line of shocks. They are made by Gabriel/Rancho, or some brand. Just rebranded as Napa. Work just fine and are probably overkill for a series rig. 5 year now with no problems.

Proline shocks are 29.95 each from out hosts-how much cheaper do you need to get than that??????

I must have missed them! All I saw were the Old Man Emu or whatever ones on the bottom of the page. However, looking closer I do see the $30+ replacements from proline.

You can get the Procomp ES3000s for about $35 ea.

I have parabolics and have been using stock Woodheads with no problems. I prefer them for ride and comfort.

I have an almost-new set of OMEmus for sale that saw only 500 miles of on-road use and no winters. PM me if you want to make an offer.

I had a set of the woodheads. They were to short to use with parabolics.

They are about 1" to short with the extra lift of the parabolics.

What happened?

You're supposed to get longer shocks when you install the para's. As well as brake lines.
