Relining Brake Shoes, just sent mine to...

Industrial brake services including brake relining & clutch relining for heavy equipment applications, antique automobiles & motorcycles.

Turns out they are only about 40 miles away from me!

These are a pair of the very early hand brake shoes, not easily obtained, so I chose to have mine relined. One day turnaround (which frankly Ill believe when I see...) and $22.50 per shoe.

In a previous life, I used to do relining at the machine shop where I used to work. I relined my early park shoes myself (late for ser1, early for ser2). fastened the lining on by cold bonding (epoxy) and fastened with brass countersunk machine screws.

Quicker and easier to get them done locally than to try and order an early set. If they have the drum, they should be able to grind the shoe to match the drum diameter exactly.
