    Ambulance needs a new home

I intended to restore and convert this truck into a camper. Things in my life changed and the time was never found to do it. It needs a new owner who will get the work done.

It's been a while since I've done any online rover shopping. What are the best places to advertise online these days?

All the major parts suppliers, like our hosts here, seem to have places for customers to list their Rovers for sale. www.Landroverexchange.com is usually a pretty popular place for sellers and seekers to list. Expedition-related sites also have plenty of people who salivate over Series Rovers. An ambulance body is even better on those sites.

I have some photos loaded on Flickr

As you can see, it needs some work. If you know anyone who might be interested, send them my way.

            Thanks

As was said before Rovers North Vehicles For Sale section of the forum.

Ebay always brings a large audience to view your rig, but you have to pay all the fees for listing and a portion of the final sale price (not a 100% on the final price fee as I haven't sold a vehicle on ebay).

Craigslist.org is very cheap (free) but limits your viewing audience to the area you posted the ad. You can overcome that by posting to as many different areas as you want or your patience will allow, cut and paste one ad to many different areas, would be my humble suggestion.

Of course you can always just park it in my driveway I'm not that far, PA is just next door to ya. Nice pictures. Does the interior reflect the outside?

Looks like ex-MOD. Is that right, with the peeling paint on the hood?

In back its not too bad, up front its going to need some upholstery work.

It is ex-MOD. The white paint has peeled somewhat all over, revealing the original green.

Structurally and mechanically it's in pretty good shape. Cosmetically, not so good. It's mostly complete, missing some light lenses and the grill . The gurney is there.

It's been parked for a few years, so I wouldn't trust the brakes w/o an inspection.

                    Needs new tires.

                      I've added some new pics.

I got under it and took pics of the frame and suspension. Pounded here and there and it's solid. There is some surface rust but no heavy corrosion.

I'm not sure what it's worth, so I'm asking for an offer. Hopefully it will work out to a fair price for all.

BTW, I've added more pics showing the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I found the grill hidden away in back.

                            pretty cool.

What are the internal dimensions of the box? what is the wheelbase?
