    Parts wanted/for sale?

Is there a parts wanted/for sale area in this forum? This is my first post and I see that no parts can be listed in the vehicles for sale section. There is something I am looking for and I want to post in an acceptable manner.-TB

I suspect that our hosts, who coincidentally also sell Land Rover Parts, do not wish to have somebody else sell parts on their parts-selling site.

I've had pretty good luck (as a buyer) on www.landroverexchange.com . A number of other sites (that do not sell rover parts) also have "parts for sale" sections.

Terry welcome! This is a great place. Check out the FAQ to answer your question.

Usually when folks post about their projects (and pictures) the aggregate knowledge lends itself to great suggestions to source what you need. There is a varied and useful base of experience here, I bet you will find what you are looking for.

So, start a thread about your project, post in the Show Us Your Series thread, use search to find past threads. Welcome and good wrenching.

          Terry-
People will also post their 'parts wanted' in the Vehicles Wanted section. If you are looking for something that is not normally available from our hosts, then I don't think this is usually a problem.

As brucejohn said so nicely, "Usually when folks post about their projects (and pictures) the aggregate knowledge lends itself to great suggestions to source what you need." So, start a thread about whatever you are working on and what you think you will need for the project. We're all interested.

I did speak to Greg @ RN who recommended posting on the forum as they did not have the parts available. I just didn't see a spot and I wanted to start off on the right foot. Thanks for the help. I'l post in the vehicles section for now and look into the other recommendations. Thanks all.-TB
