    1963 Series II 88"

This is a few pics of the Land Rover my Grandmother just gave me. It has been siting for years and I plan to go thru it and make it as clean as my wallet will allow.

I will post pics on this board when I get home but here is a link to my Clubs web site

That is a very cool Rover - but then I am prejudiced towards the 88" P/U. For obvious reasons.

Id pull up the shag carpet and see if the footwells are rusted. Looks like a pretty clean solid truck already congrats and good luck!

That's a pretty good looking piece of work! I always loved that body style.

I hate California. That truck would look like that in 2 weeks here in NH.

Anyway, your truck shall be called snow white from this time forward. Granny painted EVERYTHING white. I kind of like it though.

...2 weeks after rolling off the assembly line, that is. I wish my chassis looked like that. I only drove it one winter here and mine looks worse.

The chassis crossmember has not even been "streamlined" by offroad obstacles.

that's why mine hibernates in the winter. along with my FJ (I know that's a little ridiculous)

I just ordered a brake master cylinder rebuild kit and a complete exhaust from the manifold back.

I will post more pics when I get the parts

                            Rubijon,

What is the purpose of this odd, home-made crossmember shown in the pics below? (The one made of steel channel, not the factory one!)
