Well today I pulled off the windscreens and I will take them to work to strip them of all the white paint. Every time I go out to work on this thing I find more things I want to tinker with. Looks like I will be ordering more parts tomorrow.

That is called shipfitters disease. Just be careful you don't go too far down the rabbit hole. Keep yourself on target with a to-do list and try your best not to stray from it.

What is the purpose of this odd, home-made crossmember shown in the pics below? (The one made of steel channel, not the factory one!)

is it bolted on? maybe some one cut off the xmbr that was under the tranny to drop instead of pull'n the tranny

It is a homemade xmbr and it is welded in.

Well my master cylinder rebuild kit and exhaust should be here by Wednesday so I pulled some parts to get it ready. I will take them to work tomorrow to sand blast and paint.

I received the new exhaust and found that it is the wrong one. Does anyone know the difference?
