got her back to homosassa, put some gas in her ,she stated right up, pressure washed her for a week, got her down to the aluminum, runs great, my other series 3 does about 45 down hill, this one will hit 70+, awesume. put in new seats, the engine stalled out most of the time, put a new carb on her, that did it. she now live in homosassa fla. if your aound this area she is on us 19 just south of down town homosassa at pawfection ranch

            ilene

i had the one on ebay, people kept asking me about A/C, power brakes, gas milage and all that, told most to go out and get a jeep, decided to keep her.

Found these two at a Brit repair shop in Frederick MD...there were a slew of other interesting British vehicles there as well, but figured these two deserved to make the 'waiting to be rescued' thread for the Rovers:

A guy in Cranbrook has a great condition 66 series P/U fo sale asking $4,000.00 in the local paper. the frame is in great condition as he said he strips it down and repaints it every 2 years and has owned the truck for the last 20 years. It has parabolics and a new factory engine with the better cam. Anyway I can email his contact info to anyone who is interested. It is a great truck I would buy it but I just do not fit in the series trucks.

That would be a nice project.

                            To bad it wasn't closer...

                              Found in Plano Texas...

Driving by "K Ave" in Plano, Texas, where I never see any old Rovers except mine, I spotted this 60's girl sitting pretty in a storage yard. Doesn't look bad...
