I watched this one for several years sitting in an abandoned lot and finally found a way to contact the owner and buy it. 1963 model with very little rust. The license plate is stamped 1971 - have no idea when it was last on the road. It's been fun resurrecting it and will be on the road soon!

That one is a carbon copy of my first one. Have a ball.

That one was still available last week in Providence, personally I think the owner is asking too much for a squashed Rover.

Did you get the trailer with it? Nice find.

The picture was actually taken after getting it home. I found the Willys trailer at an auction for a $100 a few years ago. It's not a Sankey, but ought to look great behind my Rover! It will have to be restored as well, but has been a functional little trailer so far. It still had the original military tires on it, but were dry rotted. There were some brand new 750's cross ply mud tires at the same auction and picked them up for a $1. They look cool on the little trailer.

So far the Rover's been cleaned up and I have been going through all the necessary things like plugs, fluids, carb, starter, radiator, etc. It's got a set of 235 85 BFG mud-terrains mounted up and ready to go. I'll leave the patina for a while - not my favorite color, but I like the old look!

That pristine pickup cab is worth $500-700 alone. Al the ones I've seen look like they've been to H-E-double hockey sticks and back.

Don't know if anyone's already seen this, but there's a 1960 88" available just south of Quebec City. Not a bad price, either, for what looks like a relatively un-messed with vehicle:

Linus that is a beauty! Where did you find it?

I have always loved the 109 pickups. I finally got my 66 in 2007. I have just started the tear down, and got down to the frame (which is actually in quite good condition) but got pulled away on my MGB project. MGB is getting a new engine (a turbo Supra engine).
