After two years of on and off work I finally got the wheels into the powder coater, back again and bf goodrich all terrain tires mounted/ I went with 31x10.5x15. Put them on the truck last night and just now drove it. No so shockingly the truck drives WAY better now that the 40 year rubber has been replace (yes it still had the original tires). I even went on the freeway which would have been terrifying before. Below is the truck and also with the others, the '57 Series I new to the fold and the 95' D-90. Really nice to get past this milestone and actually have a truck that I now like to drive.1995 NAS D-90 Soft Top, AA Yellow

Put almost 200 miles towing a trailer on the old girl yesterday. Went to pick up some new toys for my garage! The truck ran perfect and got 17.2mpg with about 600lbs in the trailer for half the trip.
Now I just need to clean the 90wt off the inside of the windshield! That reminds me, I think it's time to put that new rear pinion seal in that's on the bench.Comment

Nice looking bunch of toys... if you need a real test of the Rover bring those to my garage only about 3,000 miles away.

Found that my driver side wiper had stopped working (when it started raining, of course).
Got home, tightened the 1/4" bolt that holds the wiper arm in place.
Everything works again. This may have been the easiest fix...in the world.Seth

Some what of a ditto . . . drove her to work. What's so amazing about it is that she was in a thousand pieces in a shed for over two years. Feels so good. Can't stop looking out the building window to see her in the parking lot. I've been asked twice, "Where can I get my hands on a car like that?" ( 73, 109 SW)Comment
