It actually works quite well. I may look into making it wider so it can catch ALL the transmission/transfer case leaks. And then there's that pesky little rear main seal leak.

You know, I can't wait until my 68 Camaro restoration project gets back from the body shop so I can let the poor Rover leak in peace.

Oh, for pete's sake! Really a '68!? Are you doing the same attention to detail like you have done on the rovers?

Nah, I'm not like that. I'm just sprucing it up a little.

Here is a pic of the engine (yellow wires are temporary - I just didn't want to risk damage to my correct date coded wires):

        ...and the restored carburetor:

Grille assembly (all NOS parts except upper & lower moldings):

        Restored Gauge cluster:

        Restored Console:

Sunvisor brackets restored with original satin chrome plating:

I can guarantee you won't - at least from me.

The funny thing is, if you did it most likely it would be a really well done rig.

More of a 'sleeper' than a bastardized slapped together bunch of parts that has had an attempt to desperately try to make it look cool.

                    Back at it...

Finally got back to working on my Series after a 1.5 year "life interuption". Picked up the block from the machine shop and putting it all back together this week. Never underestimate the carrying capacity of a Miata!

Also #4 piston took it on the chin...

I finally fixed the sender on my RH fuel tank!!! I had to trace all the wiring and replace a connector or two (rather interesting with a MoD fuel tank changeover tap!). Also replaced the fuel-filled plastic float with a soldered brass version.

Now I can actually see how much fuel remains, rather than wait for engine-stumble to switch tanks.

I haven't seen my series in a month and 10 days, I was going through withdrawal until I got an email from my fabricator today, I'll get a closer look in person when I return home in 2 weeks. Hopefully I wont have to use this...

Nice! I guess you won't be keeping the spare on the bulkhead in the back!

I too hope that you never have to test its strength!
