    Recommend any other Series forums?

Just trying to learn more about the Series trucks and wondering if any other good forums exist for them? Don't get me wrong, I have really enjoyed RoversNorth, just trying to learn all I can. Also, any good sites for do-it-yourself Rover repairs/rebuilds of such things as the carbs, tranny, engine, etc.? And what axle ratio does most IIA's have? Are the tranny/transfer cases 1:1 or is there some reduction there as well?
    Thanks

I have a couple web pages on gear ratios since you are interested in them:

It has enough gear ratio information to keep most gear heads happy.

As was previously mentioned, guns & Rovers is a good done for Series owners but even though I am a gun owner I personally don't feel comfortable with the gun emphasis. I wish that instead it was cameras & Rovers.

There are a couple of UK centric forums I like:

      The Series II club forum

      LR4X4 forum

      Take care,

No, there are no other Land Rover forums worth mentioning! Rovers North is it. Viva Rovers North!!!!

Seriously though I also like LandRoverUK forums...

They're currently ironing out the bugs of a program upgrade so it may have a few little bugs for the next couple of weeks but really good forum with lots of good advice and folks. Kinda like here, but not as good. Viva Rovers North!!!

Id certainly suggest the Series 2 Club forum, based in the UK.
The sheer level of technical and workshop expertise there cannot be matched here, sorry. Those folks know these rovers in and out and have seen it, done it, and been there.

Only drawback is it really hits home that over there you can get a mate to come over and give you a hand with a difficult problem at the drop of a hat.....here in the US thats for the most part just not possible.

Guns and rovers is probably the best practical group of series owners. Series two club and other UK forums are mostly old hens bickering about serial numbers and lamenting their failed MOTs.

Guns and Rovers. Vast majority of topics are Rovers - occasionally there is a gun post. Good group of guys over there.

Just adding another vote for Guns & Rovers. The folks are varied and technical knowledge is excellent for series land rovers. I do not own or need a gun but the gun topics are interesting reading as well.

Not an online forum but the LRO mailing list is another good group of series folks worth a read.
