A to Z of my rolling Resto

I was laying in bed Sunday morning wondering if my recent silicone bead along the roof & windsceen would keep the poring rain out (it did!) when my mind wandered to all the repairs I've done in my 15 months of Series ownership. For some reason I was mentally listing them in alphabetical order (weird, I know) so here they are...am I sick or what?

    Alternator
    Battery-accidently crossed polarity, see alternator
Coolent flush -part of timing chain inspection
    Distributor - 25D to 45D
Electrical connectors- bullet type- fell apart removing breakfast
    Fuel pump
    Gaskets - Head & Hubs
    Heater control valve
    Intake & exhust manifold gasket
    Jacks, Hi-lift & bottle
    Knob for emergency flasher
Lights - Headlights, all turn signals and one front clear marker
    Master brake cylinder
    Negative ground strap-mounted to block
Oil seals- dang near every one!
    Plugs
Quick disconnect for bonnet prop-allows me to flop bonnet against wind screen.
    Rebuilt Rochester carb
    Swivel balls rebuilt
Tires - Federal Couragia Muds (5) great tires!
    U-joints both drive shafts
    Valves- reground and seated
    Wing mirrors
X- status of wife if she reads this!
Yellow side marker lens in front
Zerk fittings on u-joints & prop shafts

Trouble is I could almost fill another list!!! Why do I love this truck????
04 Disco, Gone-Disco died & so did mine

Alternator Did the conversion on mine when the generator started squealing.
    Battery-accidently crossed polarity, see alternator
Coolent flush -part of timing chain inspection Done the flush a couple of times.
Distributor - 25D to 45D This one is in my future soon.....
Electrical connectors- bullet type- fell apart removing breakfast Wiring is an ongoing concern.
Fuel pump Went from mechanical to electric, twice.
Gaskets - Head & Hubs Head gasket done when the shop did my new motor. No gaskets on the hubs, just RTV silicone when I refurbished them.
Heater control valve My heater works great!
Intake & exhust manifold gasket Once again done with the new motor.
    Jacks, Hi-lift & bottle Ditto.
Knob for emergency flasher What be this "emergency flasher" thou speakest of?
Lights - Headlights, all turn signals and one front clear markerb Headlights done. The front turn signals aren't working, just the rears currently.
Master brake cylinder Just the reservoir, single on my truck, new hard line to the master cyl, new flex line to the clutch slave and a new clutch slave though.
Negative ground strap-mounted to block Block to frame, battery to frame, distributor to frame and bulkhead to frame I think.
Oil seals- dang near every one! Most recent the inner seal on the right rear wheel, cured the splooge of gear oil all over the inner wheel. Before that the rear seal on the transmisiion output shaft while re-installing an emergency brake that the PO had removed for some reason. ?????
    Plugs Yep,
Quick disconnect for bonnet prop-allows me to flop bonnet against wind screen. Nice idea, I just pull the little retaining pin and prop the bonnet up.
Rebuilt Rochester carb Same same. Do you know what size jets you're running? I need to figure this out on mine sometime. I feel like I need to go down in size on mine.
Swivel balls rebuilt Not yet thankfully.
    Tires - Federal Couragia Muds (5) great tires! 5 BFG ATs in the 235 x 85 x 16 flavor.
U-joints both drive shafts Years ago.
Valves- reground and seated Done with the new motor.
    Wing mirrors Yessir.
X- status of wife if she reads this! Already went down that path.....
Yellow side marker lens in front Nope.
Zerk fittings on u-joints & prop shafts Negatory.

On second thought you seem pretty "normal" to me.

only proper shot size for a Series owner is measured by taking the "spy glass" off the fuel pump and filling with beverage of choice.

          Also, can't remember jet size....thinking it was a 52???? It's very thirsty.

I live at 1500ft in a dry desert environment. I found my Rochester ran best on a 48.
