Anyone own any other classic trucks?

M37s, power wagons, unimogs, pinzgauers, c303s, etc? Just curious. I have owned a LOT of other trucks but this is only my second rover. I am still getting used to it but have begun forming opinions on the rover experience.

My best bud, who owns a '97 NAS Defender 90, also has an old Power Wagon. That truck has sentimental value for him, as it was his dad's truck, but he still prefers the D90 any day of the week.

I have a 1974 Ford F-250HD 4x4. Inherited from a friend, it gets the hauling duties around here for me and a friend or two. No power steering, the windows don't really wind up or down well at all and I don't think the 4 wheel drive works very well.

I have started considering putting the V-8 from the Ford into the 1958 107SW.
        1958 107 SW - Sold to a better home
        1965 109 SW - nearly running well
1966 88 SW - running but needing attention

'77 Jeep CJ 5. I know, don't say it. I feel like Joker in this exchange.....

Pogue Colonel: You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?
              Private Joker: No, sir.
Pogue Colonel: You'd better get your head and your a** wired together, or I will take a giant s**t on you.
              Private Joker: Yes, sir.
Pogue Colonel: Now answer my question or you'll be standing tall before the man.
Private Joker: I think I was trying to suggest something about the duality of man, sir.
              Pogue Colonel: The what?
Private Joker: The duality of man. The Jungian thing, sir.
Pogue Colonel: Whose side are you on, son?
              Private Joker: Our side, sir.

I've still got my first truck, a 1952 Willys M38. I finished 80% of the restoration when I was 15, then parked it in the barn. Some day when I move back closer to home I'll have to get it out and finish it.

                    F350....really...

Drain Rovers, we might have twin trucks. I guess I forgot to add my newer trucks. My 86 F350 duallie, crewcab, 6.9l pig just got a newly recovered front bench seat (this morning) after holding up very well for 150k miles in the AZ heat/sun. Mine is the dark blue, white sides. The factory upholstery material is still available on the web. It can pull stumps when directed to.

                          '69 Bronco

'69 Bronco .... An old family friend.. was brought home from the hospital (as a newborn) in one of these old rigs.. This one was once my grandfathers, It's changed a lot since then.
                          351W, NP435, D20, D44 & F9" w/ 4.10's and ARBs; Keonig PTO factory option winch. Warn Full Float rears, York OBA...etc..etc..

It's my everthing truck, but I never get a chance to 4x4 anymore.

We didn't get our '73 S3 until '85 or so.. It was love at first sight.. I was in Highschool & we drove it for a few years until my sister fipped it. Now I just want to finish it... Talbot
