    88 Tub interchangebility

Are there any differences that would prevent a II or IIA tub fitting on a series III project other than the lenses?

My SIII now has a SIIa tub on it. There are some tabs sticking up off the III chassis that bolt to the front of the tub, that the IIa tub doesn't directly use. But most of it is the same, (at least as much as any Series is, given they vary over production); and as mentioned, you dodge the issue of the rivets along the sides of the tub causing corrosion.

I agree my series III 109 tub is now on a IIa chassis. Really just a bit of tweaking to get them to mate up. Nothing I wouldn't expect on a new III chassis.
