Series III build with a 200TDI

So I am well on my way on a frame up restoration of my SIII. Installing a 200TDI, what do I buy in the way of a wire harness, I have nothing at all?

Second I will be looking for a tailgate instead of the rear door and also looking for a pick up cap.

Can't speak for the 200TDI, but installing the 2.5D was pretty easy using my existing chassis harness.

Many of the systems on the Diesel were the same as on the Petrol:

    -Temp sender (Green/Blue)

    -Oil Pressure Sender (White/Brown)

    -Alternator "Charge" lamp circuit (Brown/Yellow)

    -Starter solenoid wire (White/Red)

    -Main power feed (Brown)

-Coil primary wire (White)..Use for fuel shutoff solenoid on the diesel.

The only thing you may have to custom wire is a switch and a relay to activate the heater plugs.

The wire colors are pretty much the same for all Rover junk, petrol, diesel, coiler, leafsprung.....doesn't matter. Even the lighting colors are the same.
Use an SIII harness. It's easy to add relays and an extra fuse panel. Start thinking about where the batteries are going to be located.

Does the engine have the glow plug relay and harness?
Using a new one of these helps with the install.
