    Door spring?

Any idea what this is, where it goes, and if it will make my doors less hydrophilic?

Well, if it's a spring won't fresh water come gushing out of it?

Nice, Nels--It took me a while...

I wonder which door they are refering to? Looks like the sort of spring where one end is pinned to a stationary panel and the other side is pinned to an access door so that the door springs open or closed.

I don't think I have any small servicing panels/doors on my SIII that use this spring though...

In all the series trucks I've had, I've never seen anything that looked remotely like that.

Hey Apis- If your doors are hydrophilic, just drill 3/8" holes in your floor panels. My roof is hydrof....(oh, whatever that is), and the holes work good. Will also blow a gentle breeze up your skirt during the spring. When the frameology starts getting sorta reddish-brown spots, could be beginning of Landyrotitis. That has to be attended, soon.
