rear seats - fold down ?

Anyone have a quick mod recommendation to enable the rear seats that face each other on a ser ii to be able to fold the seat backs down ?

I have soft top with tonneau cover that needs the seats tops to not extend beyond the tub top, and would like a way to quickly fold down when necessary...some form of quick release is what I am searching for... many thanks

I guess that you could drill through the tub and bolt the bottom of them down and leave the tops free to fold.

Or, if you are going to be driving with a tonneau cover on just take them out.

thanks, I wanted to leave them in, as the tonneau was going to be "as required only" and was hoping to find a quick way to drop the tops - appreciated,

cut the angle iron a couple of inches or so from the base, hinge em, replace the bolts that hold it to the top rail of the tub and replace with a latches. backs will fold down and seats will still fold up.

thanks, I was thinking something like this, just need to find the right combo of a pivot type hinge + toggle latch to make it come together...

Wishfull thinking to hope for a "std kit available" !!

          thanks, mike
