Timing questions, anyone with a 1980+ 2.25 petrol?

    looking for some help.

I am researching the timing issue with my truck. So far it has been a bit of a guessing game.

    There is the issue.

I have a 1980+ crank pulley with the 5 timing marks. My pointer attached to the block has 3 pointers but one of them is larger than the others.

Which one do i use to mark the 6deg ATDC with? I would assume the large one, but im not sure. I looked in my manuals and i dont see anything other than a blurb about the new marks on the pulley. Nothing else.

    Thanks

Should be the one closest to the engine. I just redid the timing on my series 3 over the weekend with the same problem. Engine runs like a top now.... clutch is another issue.
