    liftgate / tailgate

I am in the process of replacing a rear cargo door to a tailgate / liftgate.
Can someone send some pictures of the mounting locations for the liftgate prop rods and tailgate chain mounts on the tub. I think the other parts look straight forward to install. I do have a headliner what complications will this cause for mounting the liftgate hinge.
    Thanks

I'll take some pictures of the way my tailgate hardware is mounted and post them later tonight. Sorry I don't have the catflap since I run a softtop year round so I don't know how that hardware mounts.

Here is the way mine tailgate hardware is mounted. IIRC there are sort of obvious dimples in the tub where the chain mounts attach to the interior of the tub.

I'm having a terrible time attaching pictures to this so if you send me your Email address I'll get them to you that way.

This is how I mounted my liftgate when I got rid of the door.

Thanks guys. How about some pictures of the latch receivers. I have not been able to find the left one for sale. If anyone has an extra I need one.
          Thanks

If you are talking about socket the the latch rods go into I have a pair. Since I'm not sure how to tell the left from the right and really hate to break them up PM me if interested.

Can someone please send a pic of the liftgate sockes and prop rod arrangements of a liftgate. Think I have pics of everything else.

I was missing the prop rod too but managed to use a hydraulic one from a wrecked van. Not sure of the size though. I think there was a thread about this some time ago.

                Cheers john

Thanks everyone for parts and pictures so I can convert my back door.
I will now be able to get rid of my rotted back door and the bungee cord holding it closed.
