Picked up Galv Chassis (with Rover attached) - Blue Rover restoration to begin!

I found a great deal on a rolling galvanized chassis which happens to have a complete station wagon attached to it/around it and I couldn't pass it up for the price. So - looks like I'll be putting the blue Rover's body on this this summer...came with complete running engine and all...

That does look like a nice chassis and some nice extras! Are you looking to sell the safari top?

Hmmm...I'm interested in having a Safari top-is it all there? I'm guessing it has the big rear door as that looks like it was a "station wagon" model. I might also be interested in that but I'm just getting my self in deeper now.

PM me with a price or post it here. I don't really know what the current price is.

That picture of the bulkhead reminds me, I need to pick up some swiss cheese ...

Seriously though, a galvanized frame is a good deal by itself ... so you definitely received a great deal! Good luck with it.

yeah it's really just the footwells, and he's including some Rovers North replacement panels that he didn't get around to welding in....

                          great find

and the panels are so perfect. that truck has either not seen any offroading, or the driver was an ace. congrats.
