    Well he does have a huge winch and snorkel covering up most of it. Thats a great looking rover btw, makes me question why I am getting my primed panels painted, I should just take paint OFF to make it better...

      The single stage idea sounds good. Mine was repainted by the PO and it was a very good job-maybe too good. I'm looking forward to patina but it's going to take a while to get it. Knowing my OCD I'd repaint it after doing the frame swap and all the other work.

        paint or not

        Use ordinary exterior house paint in eggshell, and then leave it in the sun during the summer.
