    Trip Odometer

Need a description of where in a Series III dash the trip odometer reset button should be mounted. Thanks.

    Right Between the eyes!

Small mounting hole between the two major gauges - top center.

Here's a pic. It's the one in the middle.

Steen, whats the red button in the upper left corner of your dash do? It looks as if it might explode, eject something...

It's an LED warning for the very primitive homemade anti-theft system.

            Over rev light?

Steen- You could get some serious oil leak running for long periods at the 7800 redline. You will probably want to run a bit under 7000 to prolong engine life.

7800 rpm It's an universal instrument, the cheapest I could get my hands on works okay though.

But I never exceed 3000 rpm, I have a Ashcroft High ratio transferbox, so when I drive at around 55 mph (my usual top-speed) my engine only spins with approx. 2300 rpm nice
