What parts do I need to complete Heater

Here are some pics of the Rover I am buying. Was focusing on the heating system and the cracked brake reservoir.

If you look at the inside pics of the dash area can anyone tell me what parts I need to complete the defrosters/de-misters?

Also the yellow knob drops if it is not strapped up. Is there a clip or retainer that can fix that?

The yellow knob is supposed to have a spring under the knob that holds it up, can't see from the picture if there's one there. It pushes on the cover that's bolted to the trans cover and pushes the knob up.
