...but then again, I often end up wearing 2 different colored socks to work... so could be me too.
I blame the dogs, she blames my eyes...

What is even more fearsome then the "pink" color is that my daughter thought it was an outstanding color for my 109.....I am feeling queezy
I've occasionally had the "Mary Kay pink" yearning but have been saved by the name of my truck, "The Green Rover". So it has stayed British racing green. But I have compromised by painting the Salisbury pink. A personal tradition started with my first car when I was 17. Al my cars except for the VWs have had pink rear ends. Sometimes with a white daisy decal as well.
Back in '78 when I had both a red 88 and a green 109, if I had called them the 88 and the 109 instead of the red rover and the green rover, there is a very good possibility that my Dormobile would have been painted pink years back.
What are you using for sprayer ? have you painted before... just curious if if took a little practice first to get a smooth consistent application. I am imagining me doing this and resulting in running, inconsistencies etc...
this is the desert sand from Rapco then ? will be great seeing that come together...

Not sure of the brand but just an ordinary HVLP gun. This is the paint from Rapco with hardener added 16:1 and then reduced with xylene by 15%. This was my first experience painting a vehicle and it was intimidating at first but I quickly had the hang of it. Of course it was very helpful to be doing it with a friend who had painted before to help set up the gun. I only had one screw up with a door top that had a nice run and will need a reshoot but I will be painting the rear tub later and will do it then.
Very awesome! I love that color and even though ive had some good ideas on this thread I still cant steer away from the desert tan. It will be a beach cruiser so it will look nice and matches the sand ill be on very well. I think im going to do satin black wheels but I have 2 sets so I think ill do one black and one tan just for fun. Cant wait to see your truck together! Im having to put mine on hold for about 6 months while I go back home for the summer/fall
