    Yes the bypass line is not a vapour recovery fitting. It is made to handle liquid fuel at a slightly lower volume to return to the tank. The idea is that the total output is never entirely consumed by the carb. The excess flows back through this bypass and returns to the tank what is not used. In doing so, a constant circulation is made keeping the fuel cooler. A bonus is that it is constantly filtered. Take that Miller Genuine.
