    SIII Footwell Replacement

Anybody done this? Does it require welding, metal cutting, etc? I have been looking for these and everyone seems to be out - "sheet metal shortage . . ." Any suggestions on where I can get these?

Last time I did it (around '90), it did require welding(on galvanized, about which many warnings exist, though I just went ahead ...) - though no cutting on the RN panels. But it was pretty simple. If I had to guess, I'd say a shop would do both sides for $50-$100. You'll probably find responses with more recent experience that might or might not confirm my experience.
